The Summer Bridal Ideas Expo gets underway this weekend at Wayville Showgrounds. This is the biggest bridal fair of the year and a must see for all prospective brides and brides-to-be. We’ll be there as usual to answer all your wedding ring enquiries or any jewellery questions you may have. If you’ve ever wanted to see how we make your rings we’ll have demonstrations of jewellery being made, live on our stand both Saturday and Sunday.
The expos are a great way to speak to some of Adelaide’s leading wedding suppliers in one convenient location. We hope to see you there.
We will be closed for the public holidays and the Friday and Saturday after Christmas. Normal trading hours for all other days.
Tonight we party with Palace Nova Cinema in Rundle Street for a VIP night. We’ll be launching our new cinema ad, providing the major door prize and officially launching this new website which just went live this morning. Guests will also be treated to a preview screening of the comedy Last Vegas featuring the Hollywood heavyweights DeNiro, Douglas, Freeman and Kline. Promises to be a great night.

Today I’m reading the Alchemist.
It may in fact become the first book I will finish in one day… Not that 167 pages is a big challenge but my reading pace tends to be that of the tortoise and not the hare. For those, who have waited far too long to read the Alchemist it is a story about following your Personal Legend, following your dream and doing what you were born to do. I believe these two men are doing just that…
David Everett and Ian Brookes are jewellers. They are not men who use moulds or machinery to make mass produced pieces shipped to chain stores around the country. David Everett and Ian Brookes are true craftsmen, with hands born of skill and eyes formed of precision they meticulously, lovingly, proudly produce the most spectacular pieces of jewellery crafted by hand.

A great night last night with the rest of the Jewellery Association at the Saracens Bar. Sad to see Ian step down the role of Director for South Australia after 6 years but a lovely thank you speech by his recommended replacement Laura from Peter W Beck.
